Begin your day with convenient pickup in Downtown Ellijay or from your local vacation rental, hotel, or bed & breakfast. Pickup is typically between 11:30–11:45, so you can relax and enjoy the experience from the moment your day begins.

Cress Creek Farm Experience
Next, enjoy a wagon ride through Cress Creek Farms for an up-close farm experience. Meet and feed the sheep, learn about life on the farm, and, when available, even get the chance to hold the baby lambs.
While at the farm, settle in for a farm-prepared picnic lunch, included with your experience. A few days before your tour, each guest will select their lunch from a menu featuring favorites such as Ellijay Apple Chicken Salad on a croissant, Pesto, Mozzarella & Tomato on sourdough, a Monte Cristo on brioche, Ham & Mozzarella sandwich, Farm Egg Salad on croissant or sourdough, and more. Each picnic lunch is served with chips, a cookie, and bottled water.
It’s a relaxed taste of farm life—and the perfect break before continuing your day through Ellijay wine country.

Curated Wine Tasting
Our first stop is Buckley Vineyards, where you’ll enjoy a curated wine tasting featuring a selection of locally crafted wines. Settle in, sip, and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere as your Ellijay adventure begins.

Ellijay Mushroom Farm
Go behind the scenes at Ellijay Mushroom Farm and discover how locally grown mushrooms make their way from farm to table. Explore the growing areas, see mushrooms in production, and learn about the fascinating process firsthand. Before we leave, you’ll have an opportunity to browse the farm store and purchase fresh mushrooms to take home.

Private Roo Mountain Winery Experience
Finish your day with a private guided experience at Roo Mountain Vineyards. Explore the tasting room, scenic cabanas, working winery, and barrel room while enjoying five or more wine tastings and light bites along the way. Learn about the winemaking process and take in Roo Mountain's spectacular North Georgia views.

Relaxing Return to Ellijay
After a full day of wine, farms, local flavors, and mountain views, relax aboard our Mercedes-Benz Sprinter as we return you to your original pickup location. The tour concludes around 6:00, with most guests returned by approximately 6:30.
